The Women Behind RUSH

RUSH was born from the vision of Rubleen & Shilpa leading Image Consultants and Certified Colour Analysts, and the co-founders of Finesse – The Finishing School.

With experience working with over 2,500+ clients, they have helped women discover the transformative power of wearing the right colours — tailored precisely to individual skin tones, undertones, and seasonal palettes.At Finesse, thousands of women experienced colour analysis for the very first time, witnessing how the right shade can elevate confidence, presence, and personal style. For years, we watched women step into our studio unsure of what truly suited them only to walk out transformed, radiating confidence simply because they finally understood their colours.

Time and again, our clients told us the same thing:
“I wish finding the right lipstick was this easy.”

And that planted the seed for RUSH.
A lipstick line created not from trends, but from true colour science, tailored for Indian skin tones, and designed to make beauty effortless not overwhelming.

Why We Created RUSH

During our Korean Colour Analysis sessions, we observed how dramatically the right shade could enhance a face — and how just as quickly the wrong one could dull it.

But after every session, our clients asked:

  • “Which lipstick can I buy now?”
  • “Where do I find shades that match my season?”
  • “Why do so many lipsticks look great on others but not on me?”

Even after knowing their seasonal palette Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter there were no lipsticks in the market designed specifically for those colour families.

So we decided to change that.

RUSH is crafted season-by-season, shade-by-shade using the framework of Korean Colour Analysis.
Each colour is intentionally developed to complement the undertones, depth, and chroma of that specific season.

The Gap We Saw in the Beauty Industry

Despite India’s booming beauty market, there were three big gaps:

1. No brand creates lipstick shades based on seasonal colour analysis

Most brands create shades based on trends not undertones. Korean Colour Analysis gives precise rules for matching hues to skin tones, but the beauty industry wasn't using them. RUSH does. RUSH fixes that with shades crafted directly from colour theory.

2. Too many choices, not enough clarity

Women feel overwhelmed in beauty aisles. Everyone is selling “universal shades” but universal doesn’t work for everyone. RUSH simplifies this: Just two perfect shades per season, curated intentionally for Indian skin.

3. Indian skin tones were underserved

Most global colour systems are created using Western skin tones. Global colour systems don’t fully address the warmth, depth, and dual undertones unique to Indian complexions. We recalibrated seasonal colour palettes to suit the Indian spectrum and built lipsticks that flatter it effortlessly.
